Close a company, properly and without surprises
Seven stages, one fixed quote before any work starts. We check that your company qualifies for strike-off first, so you never pay for a route that can't go through.
Can your company be struck off?
Usually, if all of these are true:
- It is dormant or has stopped trading
- It has no assets left, and owes nothing: no tax, no EPF, SOCSO or EIS, no suppliers or lenders
- It is not in any court action, and SSM has no action open against it
If strike-off doesn't fit, we tell you before any fee is charged and explain the alternative.
The seven stages
- 1EligibilityWe check the conditions above with you.
- 2LiabilitiesYou confirm nothing is owed: tax, EPF, SOCSO and EIS, suppliers, bank. Anything left must be cleared before we can file.
- 3DocumentsLatest accounts, bank closure letter and the directors' declarations.
- 4QuotationOne fixed fee for the whole route, agreed before we start. SSM fees are shown separately.
- 5Resolution and signatureMembers' and directors' resolutions, which we prepare and each person signs.
- 6SSM submissionWe lodge the application and answer any SSM query for you.
- 7ClosureWe follow the gazette notice and objection period through to the final strike-off, and tell you at each step.
